SciFi and Fantasy Art: Moonfairy

Well, another fairy. This time in a landscape setting. First I wanted to work with complimentary colours, blue and yellow, but then other colours went along and I sort of lost direction and purpose and...here it is.

This picture is so adorable....I have one critique though. You said in your description that you were going for complimentary colors. You said blue and yellow were complimentary, that is incorrect, blue and orange are complimentary while purple and yellow are complimentary. Just wanted to clarify. You have a beautiful gallery of work! =)

:-) Kajsa Flingling Flinkfeldt replies: "Yes, you are comepleteley right about that. But it all depends on what colorsystem we are talking about. Theoretically (spelling!), blue and yellow are opposites in the Natural Color System."

Very pretty picture, And the backround is gorgeous, but the cute little fairy girl reminds me of Kelly, the miniature Barbie who lacks the boobs which makes her cute. But al in all, awesome picture and I really like it. Who wouldn't want hair like that? The bottle is mysterious...What's in it?

your landscapes are awesome and I must agree with
'H. J. Ria Bond', your characters definitely have the personality that makes a picture complete. A very well painted painting, your watercolour skills are truly amazing!

EXQUISITE!! I have just looked at the 36 pictures currently in your gallery and they are all so beautiful. The images themselves, the colours, the proportions, your attention to even the smallest of details- everything is perfect. I look forward to seeing more from you xx

The flowers in the very front is more prominant in the whole picture. If the flowers are not the focus, maybe you should have made the colours more pastel/creamy, the yellow is a little too bright compared to the fairy’s dress, so she kind of disappears into the background. And I actually agree with Jessica V.D. here.
